‘Spring Alignment’ Yoga and Meditation
Spring is finally upon us. Life is beginning to surge, coursing and pulsating with radiant energy. Time to catch the momentum and leap into the warmer days filled with cherry blossom scent. Join Neelu (RYT) and Practitioner with over 10 years of experience as she guides you through a therapeutic traditional practice designed to align and restore, with focus on posture and history of each pose. Yana (CYT200) will then guide you into a moving meditation, finding flow and flexibility in momentum to switch into balancing poses; practice Ocean Breath (or ‘Ujai Breath’) and then be guided through a visual meditation to plant your summer intentions. Open to practitioners of ALL LEVELS. The Ocean Breath Yoga Studio is a boutique,on the beautiful Granville Island. Welcoming to all, this is a safe space of harmony and inclusivity.
Join Neel and Angela for the first session of a five part trauma-sensitive yoga and meditation series. No experience with yoga or meditation is required.
Trauma-informed yoga practice is sensitive to the needs of participants with trauma symptoms and offers them tools to feel empowered, resilient, and self-regulated through connection with the breath and increased body awareness.
Neel Kamal is a certified yoga instructor with training in trauma-sensitive yoga.
Angela Leong is a trauma-sensitive clinical counselor and advocate of mindfulness meditation.

Attending all five sessions is recommended but not required.
Please bring your own yoga mat. Straps, blocks, bolster, & blankets will be provided.
